Who are Scout Network?
Scout Network allows eighteen to twenty five year olds who have an interest in both Scouting and their own personal development and ultimately want to have fun with the opportunity to do so.
Like the younger youth sections, the Scout Network has its own development areas, which are: International, Community and Self Development.
Primarily there are no 'leaders' in Network, so therefore asks its own members to take an active role in their own development, but there will be a co-ordinator who ensures that a programme runs and is the link between the Explorer Scouts and the Scout Network.
Scouts join the Network for two main reasons, either for the social aspect, away from being a leader or other hectic life commitments, or to carry on their Scouting by achieving awards and following the programme.
Scout Network members are able to achieve several awards which include the Queen's Scout Award. There is an option to do international expeditions and gain the Explorer Belt.
The essential element to all these awards is that you are signed up and invested into the Scout Network.
